Tempered glass is a safety glass that is heat-treated at temperatures exceeding 600°C, a process that significantly increases its strength. This treatment gives the glass greater solidity, making it up to five times more resistant than ordinary glass. In the event of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small fragments, thereby reducing the risk of injury and ensuring greater safety.
Furthermore, due to its excellent ability to withstand thermal stresses, tempered glass can prevent breakage caused by thermal shock.
Its applications are numerous and include: partition walls, shower enclosures, façades, furniture, and much more.
